Refreshing the brand identity for X3M – Finnish National Broadcasting company’s Swedish-language radio channel for the youth.
Yle X3M is a popular Finnish Swedish-language radio station that caters to the youth audience, with a target age group of 15- to 30-year-olds. It has been owned and operated by Yle since its establishment in 1997. In 1998, X3M made history by becoming one of the first Finnish radio stations to offer online broadcasting.
Radio has evolved to include visual media in today’s fast-paced world, with radio hosts actively creating content and streaming shows for digital platforms.
Our team designed a new identity for X3M that combines explosive energy, digital nostalgia, and a pulsing beat that reflects the vibrancy of life itself. This flexible identity system works across various traditional and digital surfaces, enabling the radio station to expand its reach while retaining its unique identity and appeal to its loyal listenership.
