SOLUTION
INSIGHT
Coffee holds a significant place in Qatari culture. Although the speciality coffee industry is relatively new in Qatar, it has been steadily growing. Over the past five years, coffee shops and bakeries have become common in daily life in Qatar. As a result of this cultural shift, the demand for coffee shop culture has been increasing daily in Qatar.
Le Petit started with one mobile unit location, H Van, a light truck produced by the French carmaker Citroën in 1972. Over time, Le Petit’s popularity soared, establishing more mobile units and culminating in its first brick-and-mortar café at The Gate Mall.
APPROACH
Kobra was assigned to redesign the brand to better suit its expanding needs as the leading coffee provider in Doha. The redesign should allow the brand to extend to more locations and be effectively applied to various branded packaging. The brand is intended to continue its previous appreciation of French aesthetics.
OUTCOME
The rebrand is driven by the idea that good taste stands the test of time. From the Citroen 1952 to the coffee brewed to the yellow takeaway cup, it is clear, unmistakable, and compelling.
Defining the brand was just the beginning. We worked as one team with LPC to create a brand that could be seen on a takeaway cup bought from a brick-and-mortar store and on a billboard.
